Film & Edit · Neon Bazaar
Neon Bazaar Brand Film
A 60-second night-market brand film, cut to rhythm and graded from flat log footage into a neon-soaked look.
01Overview
Four hours of shaky night footage. Sixty seconds that feel like a festival.
02Problem
The footage was shot handheld on a phone and a mirrorless camera with mismatched white balance. It looked flat and orange, and the client wanted "cyberpunk, but Guwahati".
03Process
I cut to the music first and the story second. A 120-BPM track gave me a grid, and every hard cut lands on a beat or a sizzle.
- Synced and stabilised four hours of footage, then built a selects reel of 90 seconds of “heroes”.
- Matched two cameras with a shared colour-managed pipeline before any creative grade.
- Built the look in three nodes: balance, neon push on the highlights, and teal in the shadows.
- Wrote and generated the voice-over with ElevenLabs, then layered real market ambience under it.

↔Raw vs graded
04Result
A rhythm-first edit and a unified teal-magenta grade that matched two cameras. The film ran as a cinema pre-roll and a cut-down reel.
