Logo animation, lower thirds and transitions for a music and entertainment channel, packaged as reusable After Effects templates.
01Overview
Every video now starts with the same three-second heartbeat.
02Problem
Each editor used different intros, fonts and transitions, so the channel had no recognisable on-screen signature.
03Process
I started from sound. A single bass hit became the ident’s heartbeat, and every animation in the pack eases on that same curve.
- Rebuilt the logo as shape layers so it could shatter and re-form without pre-renders.
- Authored Essential Graphics templates so editors change text and colour without opening After Effects.
- Exported the lower thirds as Lottie for the web team, keeping one source for broadcast and web.
04Result
