Pulse FM Social System
A modular social kit for a city radio station, with templated posts, reel covers and kinetic quote cards built for daily turnaround.
01Overview
Six shows. Twelve hosts. One feed that finally looked like one station.
02Problem
Every RJ posted in their own style, so the feed looked like twelve different brands. Turnaround was same-day and the team had no designer on nights.
03Process
The system had to be idiot-proof at 11 p.m. I designed the templates backwards: start from the laziest possible input — a phone photo and a sentence — and make that look intentional.
- Built a type scale that auto-fits quotes from five to forty words.
- Created After Effects rigs with sliders for colour, show name and beat-sync markers.
- Used ChatGPT to batch caption variations and hashtags per show tone.
The kit shipped with a two-page “don’t” sheet, which mattered more than the templates.
